Rosemarie Anderson survived a life threatening stroke and has written a book about her experience while staying with us. She wanted to share her amazing story with the world so we helped her put the book on Amazon.com as a downloadable kindle e-book. You can purchase a copy here for $0.99.

Lois Capps held a round table at SBCH to discuss her opposition to Medical cuts:
"Wisconsin Congressmember Paul Ryan’s budget plan made it through the
House of Representatives last month, but it has received widespread
criticism — including from Representative Lois Capps, who met with area
leaders for a roundtable discussion Tuesday — for what it would do to
states and counties.
At the Santa Barbara Convalescent Hospital, where the roundtable was held, CEO David Hibarger estimated that one-half of the people at the 68-bed home are on MediCal." See the full Santa Barbara Independent story here.
